Track Name: In Sarajevo
I guess in Sarajevo
I guess in 1914
I saw the dawn of a new age fall,
I saw a mirror breaking.
It's like a distant fire that was slowly making me forget that houses fall,
but I had burned my silhouette into the wall,
and I cannot for the life in me find a reason: an expectation,
but I refuse to follow up on pointless calls.

I’ve studied ancient rulers
and their powers
and their armies
and their lives,
but I refuse to understand why wars go on and how the hell we're still alive:

As people,
so peaceful,
so human kind.
Track Name: 42.7'
Are you still thinking of me there while you are far away and scared?
I knew I've walked these streets before but now deserted as a war would've left them: silence in the air.
And I could hardly even speak.
I was staring at the river: 42.7 feet.
I wish I stayed to watch it rise, to break it's banks, fall in, subside, but I left there to run and hide.
I'll run and hide.

...and I thought to myself I should sleep, but the thoughts that won't vacate my mind will not give up for anything.
All that I wanted was release and all that I cared for was a break from the monotony.
I lost all my bets that I would purge my memory and forget
and I'm constantly making mistakes.
Track Name: Fears in Time
You're probably in your room with the light off and he's there,
but it's no concern to the world if he's there or if I'm there or if he's there.

There's no regard for names
or the blood in ether's veins,
or the secrets he keeps kept about that girl he had last may.
And the secrets he keeps only in his mind will be your
fears in time.
I'm watching a train wreck from the sidelines.
I'm waiting for the day that your phone rings and he's scared,
because it was no concern to his mind if there was another one on the side.

There's no regard for time or the thoughts in either's mind,
Now there's nothing to protect you from that slut he fucked last night.
And the secrets he keeps only in his mind will be your fears in time,
and the world will spin regardless of who you let in your life.
and the thoughts that will become your fears in time will keep you wondering on.
Track Name: I'll Sleep When I'm Home
Rain kept falling harder on my long and lonely drive
and I couldn't help but wonder If I ever even fucking crossed your mind
cause I'm insane for the moment:
I let it pass when I should have owned it.
Look what I've become: a sad excuse for love.

Philadelphia's in my memory: the rest I let erode.
I drove through the left lane to get to your house:
a little dirt road right above Norristown
While sharing my sheets so you wouldn't be cold,
I'm thinking out loud:

I'll sleep when I'm home
cause I'm insane for the moment:
I let it pass when I should have owned it.
Look what I've become: a sad excuse for love.
Track Name: The Price Of Freedom
How many times 'til they find out what human life's about
and how easily it can be taken all away?
Enlisted men in olive drab doing duty for the flag:
is it necessary? Anyone can say.
If I had any idea why these teenage kids went off today for democracy, it's like they always said.
If our country picks a fight, we need to fight to save the lives of the innocent even if we end up dead.

Tell me what it's like to die tonight and how it feels to lose your life.
Tell what it's like to die tonight and how we'll find the price of freedom.

The military can't be bored, they'll never drop the sword.
Recruits for all the branches they will always find.
I knew a kid who's name was Tom, what he did was dumb.
It was courage that put that bullet in his mind.

Tell me what it's like to die tonight and how it feels to lose your life.
Tell what it's like to die tonight and how we'll find the price of freedom.
